Pulling a muscle is pretty common, but how do we treat it? Time is really the only thing that can treat it. You should make sure you don't over exert yourself and be gentle with the pulled muscle. once you can be active again always do some stretching beforehand. You can wrap the affected muscle to help keep it warm and loose so you won't damage it further. If you find that it is not improving after several days you may need to see a doctor it could be something more serious.

This is an up and coming technology that people are taking advantage of, more notably called neurofeedback. Brainwaves are measured with electrodes, feedback is given through sound to "train" the brain to modify thoughts, emotions and behaviors. This is helpful for those with anxiety who can learn the signs of an upcoming attack and be able to bring themselves out of it. Many people find it very beneficial and it helps them calm their mind and relax as well as being able to gain control over their body.

This
article talks about a neurologist that treats patients that experience migraines. He says that migraines are more medical than people think, that the brain creates electrical activity that spread across the face causing distorted vision and nausea. He also says that anyone that is taking pain medication more than once a week is bound to have more migraines. Kenefick is an author that uses biofeedback for treating migraines and that in 12-16 sessions 90 percent of people had an improvement in their migraines. Sounds like a great way to control migraines without using medications.
